Please join us for a special online panel event on Nov. 23 at 4pm (Atlantic time) reflecting on the fifty years that have passed since the Royal Commission on the Status of Women (RCSW). This event is co-hosted by the Faculties of Arts at University of New Brunswick Fredericton and Saint John and will feature the following speakers:
• Dr. Gillian Thompson, Professor Emerita of History, UNB Fredericton
Talk title: “Introduction: The RCSW in Fredericton”
• Dr. Gail Campbell, Professor Emerita of History, UNB Fredericton
Talk title: “Interwave/ Inter-Generational Feminism and the RCSW”
• Dr. Lisa Pasolli, Assistant Professor of 20th Century Canada, Queen's University
Talk title: “Childcare and the RCSW
• Dr. Kate Bezanson, Associate Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean of Social Sciences, Brock University
Talk title: “Fulfilling the promise of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women: Childcare for Rebuilding, Recovery, and Renewal”
