The prevalence of Artificial Intelligence brings with it a wealth of opportunity for many fields, especially data research. However, it also presents several challenges when it comes to privacy and ethics that have the potential to impact the future of data privacy negatively. These challenges must be addressed sooner rather than later.
On November 22, 2023, join Dr. Donna Curtis Maillet, Privacy Officer and Research Associate of NB-IRDT, for an overview of the most harmful issues related to privacy and ethics arising from the use of AI in data research. This free one-hour session will present practical approaches that can be taken to mitigate potential negative outcomes. Legal and policy obligations concerning AI and research work will also be presented.
