For the fourth time in five years, UNB has clinched a Readers' Choice Award in the Educational Institution category for its online Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs.

UNB is the winner of the 2024 Readers Choice AwardReaders of Canadian Occupational Safety (COS) magazine—comprised of consultants, engineers, CEOs and safety practitioners and professionals across various industries—chose UNB out of a field of 27 institutions located across the country.

"We work closely with our subject matter experts to develop and update curriculum regularly so learners can acquire and apply the knowledge they need in today's workplace," says Ian Allen, Executive Director of UNB’s College of Extended Learning. "This recognition from the safety community underscores our dedication and reputation for delivering top-tier OHS education."

With over two decades of experience in the development and delivery of online OHS programming, UNB stands out as a leader in the field. The comprehensive suite of offerings has options for learners at every stage of their safety journey.

In its ninth year, the annual COS Readers' Choice Awards recognize the top Canadian safety vendors and suppliers who make their products and services available to the OHS profession. Consultants, personal protective equipment, technology and training are just a few of the many award categories represented.
