UNB’s Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (C-ABA) is designed to help create skilled and educated professionals that meet the needs of their communities across the globe.

The C-ABA program:

1. Can be completed online or on campus
2. Is taught by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts with a diverse range of clinical and research expertise
3. Includes an experiential learning component
4. Prepares you to enter graduate programs
5. Offers you the necessary course requirements to be eligible to apply to write the Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst® exam
6. Meets or exceeds international certification requirements for mid-level behaviour analysts

Why add a certificate to your degree program?

Adding a certificate program alongside a degree allows you to develop a specialized skill set in a specific area. This can give you a competitive advantage and make you more marketable to potential employers.

Who should apply?

• Undergraduate students studying psychology or a related field, such as education, kinesiology, nursing, social work, and sociology, among others
• Adults with a Bachelor’s degree who are looking to enrich their skillsets in behaviour support
• Individuals seeking to understand complex behaviours in a variety of settings and populations
• Support service workers (e.g. social work, teaching, personal support workers) looking to add to their current expertise by understanding and using ABA

Application deadlines

• Online program: Apply any time! Applications are reviewed when they are received.
• On-campus program: Apply by March 31 for admission in the fall semester.
