Building a Psychologically Safe Workplace

As part of his online newsletter series, Exploring Workplace Mental Health, Dr. William A. Howatt (Ph. D, Ed. D) recently wrote an article called Cultivating a Culture of Psychological Safety. The article discusses how employers can work toward becoming psychologically safe leaders and create safe spaces for employees to improve their mental well-being.
Dr. Howatt has worked with some of the largest companies in Canada, federal, provincial, and municipal leaders, and Fortune 500 companies on Wall Street. Bringing together over two decades of applied behavioural science and leadership, and a wide range of client experiences, Dr. Howatt provides executive coaching and leadership development to organizations around the world, including executives in the federal and provincial government, the finance sector, health care, and manufacturing.
