New research shows music can be just as important as exercise to boosting wellbeing

According to sciencealert.com, new research has emerged that shows singing, playing, and/or listening to music has a similar impact to our mental health as exercise and weight loss!

These findings are based on an meta-analysis (i.e. combining results from multiple scientific studies) and is just another example from a multitude of recent studies that are connecting music to welbeing. The reasons behind this connection, and how much music improves wellbeing, are still being studied.
