This summer, the Centre for Musical Arts’ series of music camps for youth aged 11 to 17 will run in July.
Register today and save $15 on these camps:
July 4 to 8
• Band Camp
In this camp, brass and woodwind players will meet and make music with band students from different programs. Chamber music, large ensemble, and instrument-specific technique classes are included.
• String Camp
This five-day string-intensive camp includes chamber music, string orchestra, and technique master classes. Students will have a chance to play in a string orchestra!
July 18 to 22
• Soundscapes Camp
Create music even if you don’t play an instrument! In this camp, students will explore how any sound can be made into music as they are guided through the process of creating their own unique sound collage with mixing, splicing, and other effects.
