The Atlantic Provinces Autism Conference (APAC) planning committee did not let the restrictions of a global pandemic affect the momentum of last year’s inaugural event. On November 5, 2020, UNB CEL hosted our 2nd annual APAC, entirely online.

This year, over 150 delegates registered and attended!

Once again, the conference provided a platform for families, practitioners, researchers, government representatives, and individuals on the spectrum to come together to share and exchange ideas.

Last year’s participants asked for more sessions focusing on practical solutions to common concerns, which were incorporated into the 2020 theme: “A Spectrum of Resources”.

The conference featured two keynote speakers, who provided insight into evidence-based treatments and the importance of collaboration in support of those on the autism spectrum.

We also held a dozen breakout sessions featuring personal stories, evidence-based interventions, tips and strategies for parents and professionals, and more.
