    • Our deadline date for January 2013 applications has passed. We are
currently accepting applications for September 2013. Our early
application deadline is December 31st – applications received by this
date will be assessed by January 31. Our admissions committee is not
considering applications for September 2013 until January 2013.

February 28th is our final deadline date for September 2013 applications.

Start dates for MCS students are the Fall Term (September) and Winter
      Term (January).

Please view the following link for a list of deadline dates:
      http://www.unb.ca/fredericton/cs/grad/admissionrequirements.html

International applicants who are applying from outside Canada should
apply at least six (6) months in advance.

The application process is lengthy and potential graduate students are
advised to apply sufficiently in advance of the desired entry date for
      the graduate program.

what is the current fees for master CS programs and do you
provide fund for thesis students based on research subject and professor
      recommendations?

Currently, the Faculty of Computer Science only offers research/thesis
based graduate programs (MCS and PhD).

Tuition & Fees: approx. $12,033.00 for the first academic yr (September
-August) – which is paid over 3 terms. Please see the attachment -
tuition & fees for the current academic yr.

Text Books: approx. $500 – $900 per term, there are 3 terms in an
academic yr (Fall, Winter and Intersession/Summer). Graduate students
typically take courses in the Fall and Winter terms.

      All costs are estimated.

Applications for full funding is done by the supervisor on the student
behalf. Funding is not guaranteed and is awarded competitively on the
basis of student merit and supervisor financial commitment. Students
interested in funding should contact their supervisor or potential
supervisors when applying to the program.

Students are encouraged to find a supervisor before they arrive. You
should look at the web pages of our faculty (http://www.cs.unb.ca/apps/
fcs_rms/cgi-bin/fac_staff.cgi) and contact those who work in areas
related to your interests. Be sure to write them personally, indicating
how your qualifications match their interests, and why you would like to
      work with them.
