Hi Ase,

We've done a bit of investigating and it turns out that rooms are added to this list at the request of individual departments. If a department would like to have its meeting rooms included, it simply has to submit a request to helpdesk@unb.ca.

Hope that helps!

This is a great feature for sure... but I only see UNBF rooms. Will the room feature eventually be possible on the SJ campus as well?

Hello Anonymous,

Thanks for your question.

Students moving to the connectEd online services this October will not need new email addresses. Your email address will remain the same, as will your UNB login ID and password. To access the connectEd services, just log in to the myUNB portal as normal and click on the connectEd email icon that will replace the existing Webmail icon once the move is completed in October. Along with this new connectEd email icon there will also be a direct link to your new personal calendar, file storage, and collaboration and messaging tools.

Thanks for your comment.

At this time, only those whose primary affiliation with UNB is as a student will be moved to the connectEd online environment - Live@edu. For example, if you are a full time student, working part-time at UNB, your primary affiliation is student and you will be moved to connectEd in October. For those who are full time faculty or staff members but are also taking a part time course, your primary affiliation is faculty or staff, which means you are scheduled to move to connectEd next year (2012).

To find out if you're getting connectEd in October, log in to the myUNB Portal. If you see the connectEd image on the right-hand side of your Portal screen, you're getting connectEd this October.

Hi Steve and Meaghan,

Thank you both for your comments.

We are working hard to bring UNB faculty, staff and students relevant IT information in bite-sized pieces that is both engaging and informative.

Hi Johnny W,

Thank you for your suggestion.

What a great idea. We have passed your comments along to our WebOperations group at ITS and the inclusion of accessibility details has been added to the list of items to discuss for the next iteration of the UNB campus map.

Hi UNB!
Many thanks for this good piece of writing.
Your observations are tremendously engrossing and very relevant.
I would like to think that more people are going to think this way in light of the actions you are proposing, and I for one, am a strong advocate.
Lets be honest, we both know that when it comes to trading products, good research and plenty of practical application will define your positive outcomes.
Have fun and good trading!

One idea I've heard bouncing around is for an accessibility map. Which buildings have wheelchair access, and which side of the building/or entrance can I find it? Some buildings have absolutely terrible access... like the anthropology offices or the student employment centre. Especially considering once you figure out how to get inside, those two buildings can only accommodate wheelchairs on the main floor.
