caution tapeSeveral Canadian universities and colleges have recently been targeted with email phishing scams claiming to come from their institution’s president.

The emails state you have received a ‘secure private message’ from the president and ask you to click a link to view the message. The link then takes you to a fake login page designed to look like your institution’s website in an attempt to trick you into entering your login information.

If you receive an email claiming to come from UNB’s President, Dr. Eddy Campbell asking you to click a link and enter your UNB login ID and Password, please delete the email and report it to the ITS Help Desk immediately.
