New phishing scam making waves at UNB pretending to be a faculty member

A suspicious email has been spotted by UNB students, faculty and staff, pretending to be from a faculty or staff member on vacation who is stranded and in need of money urgently.phish In some cases, these emails come from fake email addresses disguised to look like legitimate emails from the faculty or staff member, while other times they are sent from actual UNB email accounts that have been hacked.
