What can you do with six seconds? Not a whole lot … until now.

Vine is an app for Apple and Android devices that lets you record a six second, looping video you can instantly share with friends on Vine, Twitter and Facebook.

To make a Vine all you have to do is press your finger to the screen of your device. How long you press on the screen is how long it will record. Hold for 6 seconds and have one video, or stop and start to have a few shots in one sitting.

With unlimited uploads and a chance to follow and interact with friends - and the best part is it’s free! – why not take six seconds to make a video you can enjoy for a lot longer.

Ps. here’s an example of what you can do with Vine.
