ITS is searching for a likely candidate for the position of Client Support Analyst.  The position has been posted here on the Human Resources site with a closing date of August 13th, 2010.  If there is anyone within ITS who knows of a prospective candidate for the position, we encourage you to have them fill out an application with HR. Function of a Client Support Analyst: As a Client Support Analyst reporting to the Manager of Client Support Services, you will be responsible to provide tier one technical support to the users of the University’s information, communications and technology services through a centralized help desk and on-site in departments and faculties. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a Community College diploma in a related information technology field and two years of recent technical support experience. • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, analytical and interpersonal /communication skills. • Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting current technologies and operating systems including Windows.  Experience in supporting Linux or Macintosh operating systems would be considered an asset. • Flexibility in working hours, including participation in on-call after hours support beyond the regular workday is required. • It is important that applicants clearly identify how the qualifications are met through specific relevant work experience and educational information. • Technical testing may be undertaken as part of the interview process.
