A marine researcher from UNB’s Saint John campus has contributed to a BBC Earth short documentary focused on aquaculture.
“Our Blue Planet: Aquaculture could be the future of food” was shared by BBC Earth’s Facebook page last week. It delves into how marine aquaculture may solve future food crises as the world’s population increases, and calls for the development of sustainable aquaculture technologies.
Dr. Thierry Chopin, marine biology professor at UNB Saint John and president of Chopin Coastal Health Solutions Inc., receives a special thanks at the end of the video for his contributions.
The video can be viewed and shared from BBC Earth on Facebook.
