Enterprise UNB Building 1 will remain closed for the rest of the day

Fredericton Fire Department has confirmed that UNB Fredericton’s Enterprise UNB Building #1 will remain closed for the rest of the day.
Shortly after 9:30 this morning a small glass vessel exploded in a lab at the Limerick Pulp and Paper Research Centre on the second floor of the Enterprise UNB Building #1.
Two research centre staff members were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The building was evacuated and the Fredericton Fire Department has confirmed that there is no further danger. They are in the process of cleaning the area and have confirmed that the building will remain closed for the rest of the day.
