The 32nd Annual New Brunswick Mathematics Competition for grades seven, eight and nine will take place on Friday, May 9, 2014 on campuses across the province.

About 1200 students from across the province will travel to both the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton and Saint John campuses, as well as the Moncton, Edmundston and Shippagan campuses of the Universite de Moncton to write a multiple choice competition paper. The paper is available in both English and French.

The competitions are held in the late morning and, with computer grading, prizes will be presented to provincial and district winners in the afternoon.

While students await results, universities conduct tours and demonstrations at various university facilities. The program of events at UNB (Fredericton) can be found through the competition website. Several past competition papers can also be found there.

The awards ceremony for UNB Fredericton will be held at the MacLaggan Hall auditorium (ML 105) at 3:30 p.m.
