UNB holds open house on revised boundaries of Creighton Conservation Forest

Creighton ConservationThe University of New Brunswick (UNB) is inviting the public to attend open house events on April 9 & 10, 2014 to learn more about proposed revisions to the boundaries of the Creighton Conservation Forest in the UNB woodlot.

The University of New Brunswick and the Creighton Conservation Forest Advisory Committee are preparing to submit a Municipal Plan Amendment application to have the new Creighton Conservation Forest boundaries established in the City of Fredericton’s Municipal Plan.

The open house sessions will be led by members of the Creighton Conservation Forest Advisory Committee, which includes scientists and experts from UNB and the community, established to protect the ecological, social and historical characteristics of the Creighton Conservation Forest on UNB’s heritage lands.
