The University of New Brunswick has collective bargaining relationships with four different unions, amounting to six separate collective agreements.
Negotiations are a routine part of the life cycle of collective agreements. Almost all universities across Canada have collective agreements with their faculty and/or staff and, at any given time, at least one is engaged in a collective bargaining process.
UNB's labour relations site is a central hub to facilitate awareness and understanding of the collective bargaining process at UNB. It provides answers to frequently asked questions and, as various bargaining processes become active, status updates will be made available.
