UNB Saint John's Saint John College has kicked off its first Energy Fundamentals for Leaders program.

In partnership with the New Brunswick Department of Energy, the pilot Energy Fundamentals for Leaders program is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of energy issues and information taking place across our province.

Designed for professionals, leaders, and managers at all career levels who work directly or indirectly in the energy sector, Energy Fundamentals for Leaders combines in-class instruction, panels, applied case studies and site visits.

"Our program offers decision makers an opportunity to better understand the impacts of this sector, and the decisions being made, to our today, our tomorrow and our children's future," says Robert MacKinnon, Vice-President of the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Offered by Saint John College, the certificate is an opportunity for those in the energy sector to fully understand and make well-informed decisions regarding energy, the sector and the future of New Brunswick.

"We are positive that this program will create a network of informed professionals who will make the best decisions possible for our province," states Dr. MacKinnon.
