UNB’s faculty of kinesiology is hosting the annual APES (Atlantic Provinces Exercise Sciences) conference in conjunction with the Association of Canadian Ergonomists-Atlantic.

It will take place on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, at Marshall d’Avray hall, UNB Fredericton.

This annual student-centred, research conference will profile ongoing research at each Atlantic region university’s faculties of kinesiology, human kinetics, and recreation. Faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, and interested community members from the region will convene at UNB in Fredericton to share their research and faculty initiatives.

Participants will look at a wide-range of topics, including muscle recovery and physical activity in children, to coach-athlete relationships with starters verses non-starters and the influence of music tempo on treadmill running.

Everyone is invited to attend. For more information, contact Dr. Gabriela Tymowski.
