The public is invited to attend the fourth presentation in the 2011-2012 Atlantic Canada Studies Seminar Series.

Bonnie Huskins, a history professor at the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University, is the fourth speaker. Her presentation, Looking at the Loyalists of the American Revolutionary War through a Different Lens: Sociability and Community Formation in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. in room 28 of Tilley Hall on UNB’s Fredericton campus.

The series, made up of interdisciplinary seminars that promote research and discussion on Atlantic Canada, is a faculty of arts collaboration sponsored by the office of the dean of arts, faculty of law, and the departments of history, sociology, economics and French.

Participation in the series is welcome on an individual, occasional or continuing basis. The series is free and each presentation is open to the public. Refreshments will be available. For more information, contact the 2011-2012 co-chairs:
