UNB s Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Science hosts tree planting

Canada’s first-ever National Tree Day was celebrated in Fredericton this week with a tree-planting event at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Complex. Participants of the tree-planting event, from left to right: Maggie Paul, First Nation elder; Don Floyd, dean of Forestry and Environmental Management, UNB; Peter Curtis, TD Friends of the Environment; Natalie Young, TELUS; and Gary MacIntosh, director of marketing, Royal Canada, Irving Consumer Products. The event was hosted by the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management, in partnership with the Canadian Forest Service and the Department of Natural Resources.
