An estimated 28.5 per cent of adults in New Brunswick are considered obese. Lifestyle interventions, through physical activity and healthy eating can prevent, or delay, the onset of chronic health problems. This inter-professional research team hopes to demonstrate that a non-pharmaceutical intervention can assist obese New Brunswickers to change their lifestyles and have better health outcomes.
