UNB celebrations continue with homecoming presidents parade - Telegraph-Journal

The University of New Brunswick is big on tradition this year, as it celebrates its 225th anniversary, but it's not against change.
For the first time, homecoming is being held in the fall, instead of during spring convocation or in the summer, as has been the case since the first class reunion took place in May 1923.
"We decided we wanted to have it when the campus was alive," said Larry Hachey (BBA '87), president of the Associated Alumni, which organized the four-day event that began Thursday and continues until Sunday.
Plus, Hachey said, "the beauty of the campus really comes out in the fall."
The autumnal colours of turning maple leaves and ivy gone scarlet against old stone were reflected in the attire of participants in Friday's inaugural Parade of Presidents.
