UNB wrestlers to participate in Commonwealth Games - The Brunswickan

Two UNB Black Bear wrestlers will make the trip to Delhi, India for the nineteenth Commonwealth Games.
Eric Feunekes and Promise Mwenga, both members of the club, will participate in their first multi-sport games with their competition beginning next Tuesday. Feunekes, a fourth year engineering student at UNB and a Fredericton native, is excited to participate.
“It is definitely the top one for me on my list of competitions I’ve competed in,” said Feunekes. “I have been around the world to a couple different countries, but it has always been at a lower level. I’ve always competed at the junior level which is 18-20 years old so this will a completely different experience for me.”
