Want to take part in a study about the use of cannabis by persons who want help with an eating disorder? No medical diagnosis is needed. To be eligible to participate in this study, you must be at least 19 years old, English speaking, a student at UNB or STU, living with an eating disorder for six months or more, and willing to participate in two individual interviews.

The interviews will take place by telephone in the comfort of your home. A research assistant will ask you about your experiences with cannabis use and any effect on your eating issue. Your participation is entirely voluntary and will take approximately 30-60 minutes for each of two interviews.

If you wish, we will send you copies of your interview transcripts that will have names and other personal information removed. Also, if you wish, we will send you a summary of the main ideas from all the interviews, again with all confidential information removed. You will be given the opportunity to give us any feedback about the results.

To learn more about this study, or to participate in this study, please contact: Jeremy Foss 1-506-343-6766. Or email: The PI for the study is Dr. Kate Weaver 458-7648.
